Ravish Designs Blog

20Oct   Blogging isn't a dirty word ... or is it ??

Jacqui Landis - Monday, October 20, 2014

So I have been wanting to start blogging about the life around my wonderful sterling silver jewellery business, Ravish Designs, for the longest time.

Do you want to hear what I have to say?
Is there anything I could possibly tell you about jewellery that you don’t know already?
Do I have enough interesting information about my gorgeous jewellery to keep you interested?
And stories …. Do you want to hear my stories?
Oh…..the doubts!

Sometimes in life I have to wait until the time is right, if I push myself too much, I might not find myself in the right place at the right time.  It is my decision, after all. So the time is right now for me and this blogging caper – Ravish has recently Re-Booted and there’s a whole lot of new input coming at me, so somehow those planets have aligned and there just ain’t no turning back.

With the help of people who know stuff and people who just love me, I have learnt that blogging isn’t at all a dirty word, it’s a way of sharing the thoughts & stories inside my head with those of you who want to listen.

Maybe I DO have something interesting to say…
Maybe there IS stuff I can tell you about jewellery that you don’t know.
Maybe I DO have enough info (I do love to talk, after all…)
And maybe, just maybe you DO want to hear my stories!

To my friends, customers, (future friends and future customers, maybe) and interested web surfers, I start my tale, the ups and downs of the story that is Ravish and Jacqui (we are, of course, as one), intertwined with the most fascinating bits about my rings, bracelets, watches, earrings and necklaces…..who wants them, who wears them and who should (or shouldn’t) be.

So YOU hang on…

I’ll strap on the ‘L’ plates and we’ll share fascinating titles like:

‘No Pete, NOBODY is going to want to buy jewellery off the internet”…and other famous last words’
and…
‘Do my fingers look fat in this?’

‘…Sit right back and enjoy a tale’…For some reason I can’t seem to get this tune out of my head whilst writing this, so I share with you…let’s hope there’s not too many similarities…Although I always fancied being Tina Louise with those pouty lips...but that’s another story! Enjoy

Jacqui
